People that do not live in a community should not interfere with any issue in that local community as long as the consequences do not harm anyone outside of that community. There seems to be outside interference from various activist groups on a wide range of issues that will come in to a local community and block actions that are being taken by that community even though the action or issue will not directly effect anyone outside of that community. Worry about your local problems and leave other communities alone unless they harm you.

You will never overcome poverty in a community until you overcome crime first. Social services spending should be allocated in a way that accomplishes a reduction in the crime rate.

If you feel that you are being harmed you only have two options: ask those that are harming you to stop or pack up and leave. If you do neither then you will continue to be harmed.

The people of third world countries have not yet learned the simple truth that until the rule of law is established that punishes those that intentionally harm others, no matter who they are or what group they belong to, their nation will never rise out of poverty. The property rights of every individual must be enforced or the average citizen will never rise out of poverty.

The Federal and State governments should equalize per capita spending to the local level and give local control for 50% of that budget. This would provide the revenue sharing benefits of centralized government with Local control on how the money is spent.

An important rule to establish a good society is,”Go Along to Get Along” but there are exceptions to this rule. If a neighbor is being harmed against their will then you should never just “Go Along”, you should rise to their defense and if you can’t “Get Along” with your neighbors then you should move to neighborhood where you can.

If any member of any government committee does not show up for at least 75% of the meetings of that committee, that member should be removed from the committee in favor of someone that is actually interested in the committee’s business even when there are no media cameras on.

You do not have to be a conservative to expect that no one should harm others and should be responsible for their actions. You also don’t have to be a liberal to believe that someone who is harming no one should not be hassled by the government.

If a person has a history of harming others it should be public knowledge so that the public may protect themselves. That person should also expect that they will have to prove that they have changed and that they can now be trusted.

Both liberals and conservatives try to control people who are unable to control themselves. This will always be a losing battle with a negative return on your investment. You must show these people that it is their best interests to be a good person and take responsibility for their actions, if they are unable to be good then they should be isolated so they cannot harm good people.

Try to make your life better, do not try to save the world because you will always be frustrated and miserable. A One Law life is a very calm and peaceful life.

Congressmen represent the peoples interests and the Senators represent the states interests. Government services go to the people so your congressman should be responsible to ensure that your district receives a fair share of the federal budget and that the money is spent on what the people within that district want. Each congressman should be given control of a population proportional amount of the federal social services budget and the constituents should tell the congressman how they want that money spent.

Senators should represent the states interests on how the constitutionally mandated departments spend their budgets.

A person that provides a product or service to another should be proportionally compensated for their work and effort. Those that provide less should expect to be compensated less. If you harm someone you should receive nothing and be made to compensate the victim.

Big crimes are done by very few in our society and we should be proud of that. Now we need to work on stopping the little crimes that all of us are tempted to do every day and that cause a small amount of harm to a person against their will. Petty theft, bullying, and white lies still harm the person on the receiving end. Their refusal to defend themselves does not make the action okay.

Coddling does not help anyone, it just makes you feel better about yourself. If you really want to help then teach them how to take care of themselves.

Ask your local government for an accounting of all government services provided to the citizens within your local community and the total taxes paid by all sources within your local community. Is there enough public information available to determine an estimate the local services provided and taxes paid?

Taxes for the Rich and the Poor

I was raised in a middle class family and now have a middle class family of my own and I understand fully what it takes to keep up with the bills. I have a problem with exempting any group from paying their fair share for government services because they begin to believe that any service or subsidy from the government is free. Once you believe that any product or service is free, or a bargain, you will overuse it and stop worrying about the quality.

This is where we are at now with our government, the poor don't feel they should have to pay any taxes and the rich pay the politicians to put in loop holes and pay the lawyers and the accountants to exploit the loop holes. This allows the poor and rich to feel they are getting something for nothing and middle class feel that they are being screwed.

Bad financial decisions should have consequences or one will never learn to stop wasting the money they have.

Businesses never have paid taxes; they just pass the taxes on to their customers (us). Corporate taxes and subsidies allow an opening for the government to show favoritism to the companies that help them and to punish the companies that do not support them. The customer should be the one to determine whether that company's product is worth buying at the price it takes to make the product.
We must establish a truly fair way to collect revenue for government services and an individual consumption tax seems the best way to do that. There must also be a way to more evenly distribute government services to local communities and I am working on that one.

Conservative Economics – If a person does not need a product or service to survive then they should not have it, especially if it is fun.
One Law Independent Economics – If you think that you need a particular product or service then you should pay a reasonable price for it out of your money or you can barter for it.

One Law Independents – If help is needed will ask for it and expect to pay a reasonable fee. If help is needed and asked for by another then it is provided.
Liberals – If help is needed, expects others to provide help free of charge. Assumes that everyone needs help and will provide that help whether it is wanted or not.
Conservatives – Never needs help and will never ask for it. Feels that no one else should need help either.
Dependents – Always need help but will never expect to pay for help. Never provides help to others.

People think it is okay to pass a law that tells everyone how they must live their lives because they are afraid to tell one person that they are harming someone by their actions. We must judge the people that we interact with everyday on only one basis, if they are hurting others they must be made to stop and it does not take another law for that to happen.

Ask yourself why you need to get your opinion placed in law that effects many others outside of your community, that do not live in the same situation, and cannot effect your daily life. I you think you have found a good solution to a problem then convince your neighbors and implement the solution locally. If people outside of your community have the same problem you can recommend your solution and show them that it can work, and if they want they can implement that solution as well. Do not force your solutions on others because you may not be aware of all the details and your solution may not be the right one for their community. If you force solutions on others it will lead to frustration, wasted money, and a problem that is still not solved. Only worry about your life and all of the people that are important in your life and never get angry because you are unable to control what is outside of your reach.

Any government subsidy of privately purchased goods will reduce the store price but the total cost of the subsidy and the purchase price will always be higher than the purchase price without subsidy. This is because subsidies distort the free market and create inefficiencies.

Tax proportionally to the monetary control of the individual and distribute government services equally per capita to the Local level. You can keep track of how your government share is being spent and the representative is close by if you have questions.

In the private sector, if you control the budget of a very large project and that project fails to return the investment due to incompetence, you will be fired. In the government, if you control the budget of a very large project and that project does not meet expectations or costs significantly more than budget, you are re-elected and you can then raise taxes to make up for the cost overruns.
